Imagine what the impact would be

if everyone in your family did one thing, and

if everyone at your workplace did one thing, and

if every member of your congregation did one thing, and

if everyone on your block did one thing, and

if everyone at your school did one thing

TAKE THE PLEDGE
The RefugeeOne DO ONE THING campaign is an effort to collect household goods and cash to help welcome 10 refugee families who have fled war and terror in their homeland  and are resettled in the Chicagoland area.   The families will find clean, safe and fully furnished homes.   We encourage each person to DO ONE THING— e.g., donate 1 bottle of dishwashing detergent, give one new bath towel or make a cash donation that will cover the cost of purchasing a household item.

World Refugee Day originated in 2001 by UNHCR to raise awareness to the plight of millions of refugees worldwide who were forced to flee their homes.   The official day is June 20, but the occasion is marked throughout the week and often during the entire month of June.
